We respect your privacy and you agree to respect the privacy of other users.
How Communitique is built
The Communitique app and website are operated by Communitique (contact@communitique.co). To run the service we rely on the following providers, which process personal data on our behalf:
- Supabase: our database, sign-in (authentication) and file storage for profile and item photos. Our data is hosted in the European Union (Paris). Supabase Privacy Policy.
- Vercel: hosts our website. Vercel Privacy Policy.
- Resend: sends service emails on our behalf, such as a welcome message or a notification when someone asks for one of your items. Resend Privacy Policy.
Our previous platform
Earlier versions of Communitique were built and hosted by Bubble Group, Inc. We have since moved the app to the infrastructure described above, and the information from your account was transferred with it. The Bubble Privacy and Cookie Policy continues to apply to any data that remains on Bubble’s platform.
Analytics and cookies
The Communitique app does not use Google Analytics, advertising or other third-party tracking tools.
Information Collection and Use
We may collect personal information from users in order to provide and improve our services. This may include, but is not limited to, the following types of information:
- Personal Data: your name, username, email address and password (stored securely by our authentication provider), and the profile details you choose to add: profile photo, bio, postal code, country, city and date of birth.
- Content you share: photos and descriptions of the clothes and accessories you list, requests for items, messages you send to other members, friend connections, reviews, and the list of members you block.
- Location: if you allow it, the app reads your device’s location once to find your city. We store only the resulting city, country and postal code, not your precise coordinates.
- Usage Data: information about how the app is accessed and used, such as when you were last active.
Use of Data
We may use the collected data for various purposes, including:
- To provide and maintain the service.
- To notify you about changes to our service.
- To provide customer support.
- To gather analysis or valuable information so that we can improve our service.
Data Sharing
We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this Privacy Policy: with the service providers listed above, who process it on our behalf, and with other Communitique members as follows. Signed-in members can see your username, name, profile photo, bio, country and city, the items you list, and reviews about you. Your email address, date of birth, postal code and the date you were last active are private: they are never shown to other members, and our database does not allow other members to read them. Your messages are visible only to the people in the conversation.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account from the app (Account → Delete account). Deletion is immediate and permanent: it erases your sign-in email address and credentials, your profile, the items and photos you uploaded, and the other content linked to your account, such as your messages and reviews.
Security
We value your trust in providing us your personal information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Our service may contain links to other sites. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that site. Note that these external sites are not operated by us. Therefore, we strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, we advise you to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
